Second attempt at Family Photo's

August 10, 2008 is my daughter Ashley's birthday (she is 22 this year) and we made our second attempt at family photo's. This time everyone cooperated and the pictures turned out beautiful. They were taken in our backyard and afterwards we all went to lunch at Houlihans and Ashley was able to get her french onion soup that she had been craving. It's hard to believe that we have a 22 year old and a fourth month old!!! What a combination. They each give us a different set of trials, but the moments of joy and pure love make it all worth it!!!

First Full Nights Sleep

July 25th was Ava's first full night's sleep. I woke up and freaked out and ran into her bedroom, but she was fine. We got so excited about getting some sleep that we took her to St. Joe, MI for a family day and tried to take family pictures.
It was a beautiful day but we didn't use our time wisely and decided to try and take family pictures at the end of the day instead of the beginning. As you can see from the posted picture to the left, she was not having any of it. She has been consistent with sleeping through the night for us, and George and I feel human again. You cannot fathom how precious sleep can be until you live without it.
