May 22nd- FIVE YEAR wedding Anniversay

This year George and I celebrated our five year Wedding Anniversay on May 22nd. This date also falls on my friend, Lori Best, birthday. This year we decided to attend Lori's B-day celebration at 523 bar and grill and also toasted to our own milestone of five years of marriage. It has flown by and we have had alot of great times and good memories to cherish. We look forward to our future together and our love and commitment to each other is evident in our daily life. I Love you George!!

Ava's Birthday Party-May 16th

What a celebration we had for Ava! Lots of family and friends, great food (Chic Eats Catering) , terrific Lemon White Chocolate cake, and the sun finally came out! It was such a tremendous day for us to celebrate and remember not only how grateful we are for Ava but how grateful we are to all our friends and family who encourage us, prayed for us, and was there for us during our challenges in trying to get pregnant and then the challenges we faced during our pregnancy and after Ava was born. God has answered many of our prayers and we are thankful for his miracle called Ava Grace. Thanks to all that came and joined us in this celebration of life!

This Birthday Tiara is giving me a headache!

A birthday kiss from my Daddy!

It's My Birthday...I'm doing the reading tonight!

Ava's Birthday - May 13th

Ava's B-day celebration was on the 16th, but her actual birthday is May 13th and George and I celebrated by letting her open a couple of gifts from us and to eat( she mainly made a mess) a piece of cake after we sang Happy Birthday to her. We had bought her a couple of bathing suits and a blow-up beach toy and we let her try on one of her bathing suits and filled up the bath tub and put her float in it. What Fun she had!!!

Next Year I will plant too!

Me and My Girls on Mother's Day

Mother's Day

This year was pretty special because I was able to spend it with BOTH my girls and my wonderful husband. Last year I was in the hospital waiting to give birth to Ava. My Mother's Day morning started out with a card from Ava that she held and handed to me. (Thank-you to George for his thoughtfulness), then we went and met Ashley for brunch at Granite City. Ashley had fresh cut lilacs and a card for me. The best part was that we all came back here to plant our first garden together. Our neighborhood for the first time was starting a community garden and we signed up for a 10x10 plot. Ashley and I planted marigold's around the border of our plot and then we planted tomato's, pepper's, broccoli, and cauliflower. George watched Ava dig in the dirt next to us and took lots of pictures. It was a great way to spend my Mother's Day and I feel humbled by how lucky I am for my family!!
